Description:

Lamotrigine is white or white like powder. Crystallized in iso propanol, slightly soluble in water, melting point, 216 ~ 218 ºC, easily soluble in benzene, hot ethanol and other organic solvents.

Function:
1.It is mainly used for partial epilepsy, especially for refractory partial epilepsy which can not be controlled by other single or combined drugs, and its effect is safe and effective.
2.About 50% of patients with absence or atypical absence seizures and myoclonic seizures are controlled.
3.It is also suitable for the treatment of Lennox gastat syndrome in intractable epilepsy and secondary and idiopathic generalized tonic clonic seizures.
