Description:

N-acetylglucosamine (NAG) is the basic unit of many important polysaccharides in biological cells, especially crustaceans with the highest exoskeleton content. It is an important prerequisite for the synthesis of bifidus factor and has many important physiological functions in the organism.

The chemical formula of N-acetylglucosamine is C8H15NO6. It is a white powder. It is easily soluble in water. It has anti-inflammatory, anti-tumor and anti-oxidant effects. It is clinically used to treat osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis. It is widely used in the fields of food, medicine and cosmetics.
