Description:
Ceftizoxime is the third generation cephalosporin, which has a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity, and the antibacterial spectrum is similar to that of cefotaxime. The broad-spectrum β-lactamases (including penicillinases and cephalosporinases) produced by a variety of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria were stable. This product has a strong antibacterial effect on Escherichia coli bacteria, Klebsiella pneumoniae, Proteus singular and other enterobacteriaceae bacteria, Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Acinetobacter and other Pseudomonas aeruginosa, the sensitivity of this product is poor. Cefazoxime has a good antibacterial effect on Haemophilus influenzae and Neisseria gonorrhoeae.

The third-generation cephalosporin antibiotics have antibacterial effects on a variety of gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, but have a strong effect on gram-negative bacteria. It is used for respiratory infections, urinary system infections, biliary tract infections, bone and joint infections, skin and soft tissue infections, gynecological diseases, sepsis, peritonitis, meningitis and endocarditis caused by sensitive bacteria.
